Beth Dessner, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Physical Therapist Beth Dessner is President of Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy, PC and Clinic Director of the Wilton location. She attended the University of Iowa where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Science Education. She then moved to St. Louis where she received her physical therapy training at Washington University School of Medicine. Beth returned to Iowa in 1997 and opened 21st Century Rehab, PC with a Des Moines area colleague. In 1994, Beth purchased the 21st Century Rehab's Wilton and Durant clinics and Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy was established. Beth is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She is received her doctorate in physical therapy from Des Moines University in 2009.
Beth is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Private Practice Section (PPS), Wilton Chamber of Commerce and Shepherd of the Cross Lutheran Church. She is a runner and triathlete. Beth, her husband Dave Cook, and two children Alex, a junior at the University of Iowa, and Grace, 14, live in Wilton. Clinically, Beth specializes in treating Women’s Health patients and injuries in runners.

Ryan Larson, DPT, CCCE, Sports Director
Ryan is a Physical Therapist for EIPT. He currently works in the Blue Grass and Durant clinics. He is the Center Coordinator for Clinical Education and Sports Director, which means he is in charge of placement of students for intership/clinical rotations and develops programs for athletes to improve their skills. He is a member of the APTA, IPTA, and Sports section of the APTA. Ryan attended St. Ambrose University from 2002 to 2007, receiving a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology as well as a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. He particularly enjoys working with orthopedic and sports cases, however enjoys the challenge each patient presents
Ryan got married on December 30, 2010, so he is getting used to married life with his wife Ashley. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time with family and friends. He also loves cruising in his 1976 Ford Thunderbird and playing with his two dogs, Keeley, a black lab mix, and Zoey, a miniature Daschund.

Amy Shelangoski, PTA
Amy Shelangoski is a Physical Therapist Assistant for Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy. Amy originates from the area, graduating from Bennett Community School in 1991. Indian Hills Community College, Ottumwa is where she chose to obtain her Associate of Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Amy is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is approaching 12 years of experience in the clinic treating patients at Wilton, Durant and Blue Grass clinics. Orthopedics, sports rehab, pediatric and geriatric populations are of greatest interest to Amy.
Durant is now Amy’s home with two children, Drake and Lainey. Family/friends, outdoor activites and running are some interests that Amy enjoys away from work.

Sarah Costello, DPT
Sarah Costello is a Physical Therapist for Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy. She attended St Ambrose University from 2003-2006, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, then went on to Des Moines University from 2006-2009, earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She enjoys the wide diversity of patients at the Wilton clinic. She is a member of the IPTA and APTA.
Sarah grew up in Durant, and now resides in Bennett with her husband, Jeremiah, son Gabriel, and dog Ryder. They are members of St Ann's Catholic Church in Long Grove. In her free time she enjoys running, biking, cooking, spending time with friends and family, outdoor activities and playing with her son.

Jenn Burke, DPT
Jenn Burke is a Physical Therapist for Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy currently working in the Wilton office. Originally from Northeast Iowa, Jenn attended the University of Northern Iowa to receive her Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Biology. Following attending UNI, Jenn attended the University of Iowa where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009. Jenn enjoys the variety of patients seen at Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy. Jenn is a member of the APTA.
Jenn enjoys spending time with friends and family including her husband, Ty and her dog, Titus. She also enjoys running, swimming, and scrapbooking.

Jason Feldman
Athletic Trainer, Jason Feldman joined Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy in early June. Jason will be working at the Durant and Wilton Clinics and will be covering sporting events for both Durant and Wilton High Schools. He will also be offering sport camps for local athletes.
Jason, a native of West Liberty, graduated from Clarke College, Dubuque, Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with friends and family, spending time on the farm, playing golf, basketball, and slow pitch.

Sandi Kallenberger
Sandi Kallenberger is office manager in the Blue Grass clinic. Sandi and husband Bob have a blended family of six children, 15 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Sandi and Bob enjoy riding their Harleys, hunting pheasant, playing golf and spending as much time with children and grandchildren as they can.
Being relatively new to the Blue Grass area, Sandi says it is a pleasure to meet and work with members of the communities of Blue Grass and surrounding areas.

Katy Jepsen
Katy Jepsen works at the Wilton clinic and is the Front Office Manager for Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy. Katy has over 30 years of customer service and office experience. Katy is the representative for Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy in the Durant Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the Durant Lioness Club. She lives in Durant with her husband, Jim. As they have five children and 11 grandchildren, she enjoys spending her free time with her family.

Chris Putnam
Chris Putnam is the Front Office Manager for Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy. Chris works in the Durant clinic primarily and at the Wilton clinic on Fridays. Chris calls Wilton home with her husband, Marty. They have two children and a one year old grandson. Chris is an active member of the Apostolic Church of Tipton. In her spare time you can find Chris cooking, sewing and enjoying the company of family and friends.

Dawn Crawford is the Billing Specialist for Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy. She works out of the Wilton clinic. Dawn and her husband, Ken, live in Wilton with their two sons. She enjoys gardening, attending her sons' athletic events, home decorating and spending time with family.

Lori White performs billing and collections for Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy. Lori works out of the Wilton clinic. Lori and her husband, Tim, have three grown children and live in Wilton. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog and spending time with family and friends.

Calli Kahl
Calli Kahl is an aide in all EIPT clinics. She has been with Eastern Iowa Physical Therapy for three years. She graduated from Muscatine Community College where she received an Associate of Arts degree. She is currently a student at St. Ambrose University where she is studying exercise science.
Calli grew up, and currently lives in Durant, Iowa. She enjoys being around people, being active, boating, and spending time with friends, and family.
