Orthopedic Physical Therapy
EIPT is a patient-centered practice specializing in the treatment of orthopedic conditions and injuries. Orthopedic physical therapists diagnose, manage, and treat injuries of the musculoskeletal system including providing postoperative care following surgery. We use a variety of different modalities including joint mobilization, therapeutic exercises and flexibility, heat/ice and other physical agents to increase strength, regain mobility and help return our patients to their pre-injury level of activity. When indicated, the physical therapist may recommend a custom shoe insert as a treatment option. These inserts/orthotics can be fabricated by your EIPT therapist.

Back to topWorker’s Compensation/Work Injury Prevention
At EIPT, our goal is to provide the safe and timely return of an injured worker to their job. We provide immediate treatment of job related injuries and maintain good communication between the worker, employer, physician, and reimbursement source. In addition to providing care to the injured worker, we seek ways to prevent injury in the workplace. Ergonomics is the study and control of the effects of stressors and physical forces on the human body engaged in work. Our team of therapists will teach the worker and the employer about proper body mechanics and minor adjustments that can be made at work and home to prevent overuse injuries/cumulative trauma disorders.
